Disclosure: Arena, the company that builds Soft Serve Society, also builds the booking app for 91pickleball, one of the venues mentioned here. Every venue in this post is described the same way.
If you want a pickleball court in Ipoh, you’ll pay less than in KL. Most courts cost RM15 to RM40 an hour, and only the hotel court in the city centre goes much higher. Nearly every venue books through Courtsite, so one app covers most of the city.
Below are 11 venues we could confirm are taking bookings in 2026, grouped by area. KTM Ipoh station is the only rail link, and every venue is a drive or a Grab ride from it. The closest are YMCA and the AC Hotel court, both roughly 1.5 km away.

Prices were checked in October 2026, and are per court per hour. For the Courtsite venues, they’re the prices Courtsite quoted for bookings in mid-October 2026, which sometimes differ from the price text on the same listing. Each venue’s source is linked in its section and listed at the end.
Almost every Courtsite venue in Ipoh has the same booking policy: no refunds, and you can change a booking once with 48 hours’ notice. Outdoor venues add a rain policy. Our guide to booking apps in Malaysia walks through Courtsite step by step.
City centre and Canning
YMCA Pickleball Court
- Area: YMCA of Ipoh, Jalan Raja Musa Aziz (Anderson Road), roughly 1.5 km from KTM Ipoh as the crow flies.
- Getting there: Drive or Grab. There’s a car park.
- Indoor or outdoor: Outdoor, on converted tennis courts. A canopy was planned in 2025, per Ipoh Echo, but we couldn’t confirm it has been built.
- Courts: 4.
- How to book: Courtsite, up to 28 days ahead.
- Prices: RM15 from midnight to 6pm and RM20 from 6pm to midnight, every day. The listing’s own price text shows RM20 to RM25, so check the price at checkout.
- Hours: Open 24 hours, per its booking calendar.
- Paddle rental: RM4. Balls are RM8 to buy.
- The catch: It’s in the open, so midday is hot and storms stop play. If rain costs you half your slot or more, you can reschedule within a month. Otherwise there are no refunds.
AC Center Court @ AC Hotel by Marriott
- Area: Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil, city centre, roughly 1.6 km from KTM Ipoh as the crow flies.
- Getting there: Drive or Grab, with the hotel car park. Ask lobby security to take you up to the courts.

Ace Space Sports Centre
- Area: Pusat Komersial Lang Jaya 1, Lang Jaya.
- Getting there: Drive or Grab. There’s a car park.
- Indoor or outdoor: Indoor, in a multi-sport hall that also has 20 badminton courts and futsal. The centre lists aircon, but we couldn’t confirm it covers the pickleball courts, or whether the pickleball courts have their own floor or are marked on the badminton courts.

Which court should you try first?
For the cheapest court-hour, YMCA (RM15 by day, open 24 hours) and the RM15 hours at Hari Hari are hard to beat. That’s under RM4 each for a four, about the price of a cup of Ipoh white coffee. If you want aircon and don’t mind paying for it, AC Center Court and 91 Pickleball Clubhouse Ipoh are the two we could confirm. For a good-value indoor game in the evening, Ace Space (RM25 to RM30) and Pick A Ball (RM28) have the lowest peak prices we found.
If you don’t have a group, Ipoh’s social sessions run on Reclub, the free app most local clubs use. Ipoh Pickleball Club and 002 Pickleball Club & Academy are two of the bigger groups. Our guide to how open play works explains what to expect.
A note on noise
Ipoh has already seen a court case over pickleball noise. In May 2026, the Ipoh Swimming Club agreed in a consent judgment at the High Court not to allow open-air pickleball next to a neighbour’s house, and to plan an indoor facility instead, subject to approvals, Malay Mail reported. The club is members-only, so it isn’t in the list above. But it’s a reminder to keep the noise down on outdoor courts near houses, especially early and late.
Other Ipoh courts we couldn’t confirm
Guides also list Ipoh Pickleball Fun Club in the city centre, MasterDink near Pantai Hospital, Dinkers in Lahat, Hugh’s Racquet Club, Pickleball Sanctuary in Taman Hoover, and 002’s arena in Bercham. We couldn’t confirm their 2026 prices or booking from the venues themselves, so they’re not in the list. If you run one of them, we’d like to hear from you.
